Aloha! This page provides information to stakeholders about our school’s Academic Plan and operations. Our School Community Council (SCC) — made up of the administration, teachers, staff, students, parents, and volunteer community members — provides input on the Academic Plan each school year. Elections are held every 2 years to elect members from each stakeholder group to the SCC. If you are interested in joining our SCC, please contact the school office. Learn more about School Community Councils on the Hawaii DOE website.

SCC Meeting Schedule 2026-2027
Next Meeting: 10/20/2026, 4:30-5:30 pm at the Windward Mall Office Conference Room
Schools publish an Academic Plan and a Comprehensive Financial Plan each year to set the goals and priorities for student learning, programs, and initiatives aligned to statements of funding.
Our plan was approved by our School Community Council and by the complex area.
Hawaii’s public schools are required by law to implement bell schedules that categorize learning and non-learning minutes of the school day (Act 167/Act 21), meeting a minimum of 1080 student hours each year.
At least twice per year, we will convene meetings for the broader community to provide input on the Academic Plan and Financial Plan.
This yearʻs SCC Community Meetings are currently scheduled for November 10, 2026, and March 4, 2027.
